Some Thoughts on the Village

I've lived in Cold Spring about 4 years and perhaps some of my own habits are shared by others.
For example, I use the post office, Foodtown, M&T Bank, Drug World and Elmesco Citgo. Aside from using the train station occasionally, I rarely venture into the village otherwise.


The antique stores are charming but I'm not in the market for antiques; eventually I'll be one. Similarly, the restaurants are good but my wife and I rarely eat out. While that could…
